AuthAnvil tokens are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship from date of purchase for a period of 5 years. Products damaged through neglect or abuse (cracked LCDs, bent cases, damage by liquid, etc.) are excluded from this warranty. This warranty does not apply to product that has been altered or tampered with in any way or where repairs have been attempted by other than a Scorpion Software approved facility.
Defective units will be repaired or replaced free of charge within this time period, as long as a current AuthAnvil software subscription is associated with the token. You must pay for transportation costs to return the defective goods.
If the AuthAnvil token is generating passwords but are not working with AuthAnvil then the token may not be deffective. Please resync the token and reattempt authentication. If it continues to fail, you may need to request an RMA.
To start the RMA process, please open a new support case with the subject of “Token RMA Request”. In the description field explain specifically what the issue seems to be with the token, and include any messages that the token displays. We will then work with you to diagnose the problem, and determine if you need to return the token.
Once you have received your RMA number and RMA form, please complete the RMA form and mail it using proper mailing materials (padded envelope or a parcel) along with the defective token to:

NOTE: Any customs or duty charges assessed against Scorpion Software due to failure to include “Warranty Repair” in the shipping documentation will be charged back to you.
Once your shipment has been received, attempts will be made to repair the device. If it cannot be repaired, Scorpion Software may replace it at our discretion. In either case, the token will be reprogrammed and a new token import file will be emailed to the primary contact of record for the order.
