Cody is a bookworm and a gamer who also leads development of AuthAnvil Password Server. He likes RPGs, strategy, and adventure games, and also table-top roll-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons. After studying computer information systems and gaining hands-on experience, he joined Scorpion Software, where he likes developing interesting software that solves real problems. He also finds the corporate atmosphere refreshing: it’s friendly, and everyone gets along. Cody would love to meet Nicola Tesla, because he could invent anything and is the closest thing to Tony Stark we have.
Steve’s first job was at a berry processing plant; he worked four hours then quit the next day. Luckily he’s sticking around at Scorpion Software, where he helps customers and ensures people have all the resources and technical information they need. He knows everything about our software from using it himself, and loves the interaction between departments. Steve is secretly a talented pianist, and would love to meet Japanese composer Nobuo Uematsu. He likes movies that are out of the ordinary and set in the future, like action, fantasy, superhero, and sci-fi. Someday he’d love to take a road trip across Canada.
Steve, lead developer for AuthAnvil Single Sign On, has been coding since he was 10 years old. In fact, his first job was freelancing as an IT Tech. After getting involved with the Microsoft community by presenting and writing blog posts on his favourite technologies, he was named a Microsoft MVP (Most Valued Professional) for Developer Security. But his training is actually in sound engineering – few know he can rig sound for huge concerts. Steve’s favourite character is Atticus Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. He first read the book in grade nine but has read it many times since.
Claude Fournier, lead developer for AuthAnvil Two Factor Auth, can name any rock song from the ‘60s or ‘70s just by hearing it. Having worked in the high-tech industry for nearly 20 years, he likes Scorpion Software’s team philosophy: we work hard on extremely serious work, but we also let off some steam and have fun. He feels it’s a good environment where he’s free to do his best. Claude loves golf, and would do anything to meet Jack Nicklaus and play at St. Andrews, Scotland. His favourite superhero is Spiderman because of the interesting back story, and his favourite movie is The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
